Car
If you are starting from Kununurra, drive southeast on Victoria Highway (National Route 1) for approximately 30 km. You will reach a turn-off to Lake Argyle. Turn left onto Lake Argyle Road and continue for around 16 km until you reach the lake area. Follow the signs to Secret Springs, which is located on the western side of Lake Argyle. There is no entry fee to access the area, but ensure your vehicle is suitable for unsealed roads, as some parts may be rough.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Kununurra to Lake Argyle. The bus service operates a few times a week, so check the current schedule ahead of your trip. Once you arrive at Lake Argyle, you may need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle service to reach Secret Springs, as it is a short drive from the main area. Be prepared for additional costs for the shuttle service, which can vary.
Bike
If you're feeling adventurous, consider cycling from Kununurra to Lake Argyle. The journey is about 46 km and will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Follow the same route as if you were driving: head southeast on Victoria Highway and then take the turn-off to Lake Argyle Road. Ensure you have adequate supplies, as there are limited services along the way.
