From Derby, take the Gibb River Road (Cattle Creek Road) heading east. The Gibb River Road is a well-known route through the Kimberley region, but it's recommended to have a 4WD vehicle due to rough conditions. Travel approximately 90 km until you reach the Manning Gorge Road turn-off. Turn left onto Manning Gorge Road and continue for about 12 km. You will find the Manning Gorge campsite and access point for the gorge. Please note that the road can be rugged, so ensure your vehicle is equipped for off-road travel.

Public transportation options are limited in The Kimberley region. However, you can take a bus from Broome to Derby with companies like Broome to Derby Shuttle. From Derby, you will need to hire a car or join a tour group that offers trips to Manning Gorge. Make sure to book these services in advance, as they may not be available every day.

Once you arrive at the Manning Gorge campsite, you will need to walk to the gorge. The walk is approximately 3 km one way and takes about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
