Car
To reach Nadab Lookout from Darwin, take the Stuart Highway (National Route 1) south. After about 150 km, take the exit for the Arnhem Highway (National Route 36) toward Jabiru. This route will take you through the beautiful landscapes of the Top End. Continue on the Arnhem Highway for approximately 70 km until you reach Jabiru. Once in Jabiru, follow the signs to Kakadu National Park. There is an entry fee of around AUD 40 per vehicle for a 7-day pass. After entering the park, follow the signs to the Nadab Lookout, located near the Nourlangie Rock. The lookout provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Public Transportation
From Darwin, you can take a bus service to Jabiru, provided by companies like 'Kakadu Bus' or 'Greyhound Australia.' The bus trip typically takes around 3 hours and costs approximately AUD 50-70 one way. After arriving in Jabiru, you will need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle to get to Kakadu National Park, specifically to the Nadab Lookout. Once you reach the Nadab Lookout parking area, there will be a short walking trail leading to the lookout point. This walk is about 1 km and is well-marked.
