Car

This journey is quite long, approximately 1,800 kilometers, and can take around 18 hours of driving time. You may want to break this journey up with overnight stops in major towns such as Katherine and Alice Springs. Once you reach the town of Port Campbell, which is the closest town to Loch Ard Gorge, follow the signs to the Great Ocean Road (B100). After about a 10-minute drive on the Great Ocean Road, you will arrive at Loch Ard Gorge, located in the Port Campbell National Park. There is a parking area near the gorge, and parking is free.

From Geelong, you can take a bus to Port Campbell (this may take around 3 hours).
