Once you reach the town of Port Campbell, which is the closest town to Loch Ard Gorge, follow the signs to the Great Ocean Road (B100). After about a 10-minute drive on the Great Ocean Road, you will arrive at Loch Ard Gorge, located in the Port Campbell National Park. There is a parking area near the gorge, and parking is free.

Public Transportation

Traveling to Loch Ard Gorge via public transportation is less direct. From Darwin, you can take a flight to Melbourne. Once in Melbourne, you can catch a train to Geelong (approximately 1 hour). From Geelong, you can take a bus to Port Campbell (this may take around 3 hours).
