Car
From the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, head southwest on the main road towards the Ayers Rock Resort. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the road to Kata Tjuta. Turn left onto the road towards Kata Tjuta (also known as The Olgas). Follow this road for approximately 30 km (about 20 minutes). Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Valley of the Winds car park. Once you arrive at the car park, park your vehicle and follow the walking trail signs leading to Karu Lookout. The walk to the lookout is approximately 7.4 km return and takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace.
