If you're traveling by car, start from Ballarat, which is approximately 45 minutes away from Mooramong Homestead. Take the Western Highway (A300) towards Ararat. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Skipton. Continue on the Glenelg Highway (B160) for another 18 km until you reach Mooramong Homestead, which is located on the left side of the highway just before entering the town of Skipton. Look for the sign indicating Mooramong Homestead.
Public Transportation
To reach Mooramong Homestead using public transport, take a V/Line train from Melbourne's Southern Cross Station to Ballarat. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. From Ballarat, you will need to catch a V/Line bus to Skipton. The bus journey takes roughly 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Skipton, Mooramong Homestead is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head west on the Glenelg Highway, and you will find the homestead on your left.
