At Allansford, turn left onto the C179 (Hopkins Highway) and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Next, turn right onto Childers Cove Road. Follow Childers Cove Road for about 5 kilometers, and Sandy Cove will be on your right. Look for the coastal access points for parking.

Public Transport

To reach Sandy Cove via public transport, take a V/Line train from Melbourne to Warrnambool. Once you arrive at Warrnambool station, you can catch a local bus service (Bus Route 3) towards Allansford. Get off at the nearest stop to Allansford, then you will need to either call a taxi or use a rideshare service to reach Sandy Cove. The taxi service will cost approximately AUD 30-40 for the 20-minute ride to Sandy Cove.
