If you're traveling by car from any location in the Western District, such as Hamilton or Warrnambool, start by getting onto the Western Highway (M8) heading towards Melbourne. Follow the M8 until you reach the outskirts of Melbourne, then take the exit onto the West Gate Freeway (M1). Continue on the M1 until you reach the exit for City Link (M2) towards Southbank. Follow the signs for Southbank and take the exit for Kings Way. Continue straight, then turn left onto Southbank Boulevard. After a short drive, turn left again onto Riverside Quay. Melbourne Skydeck will be on your left at 7 Riverside Quay. Parking is available nearby but may incur fees.

To reach Melbourne Skydeck using public transportation, start by taking a train from your nearest train station in the Western District to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Trains run frequently, but check the V/Line schedule for exact times. Once you arrive at Southern Cross Station, exit the station and walk towards the tram stop on Spencer Street. Take Tram 96 or Tram 109 towards St Kilda. Get off at the stop at Whiteman Street near the Crown Casino. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Melbourne Skydeck at 7 Riverside Quay. Be sure to have a Myki card for fare payments, which costs around AUD 6 for the card plus the trip fare.
