From the Western District, head towards the M1 freeway (Princes Freeway) and follow the signs for Melbourne. Merge onto the M1 and continue for approximately 150 km. As you approach Melbourne, use the left lanes to stay on the M1, following signs for the West Gate Freeway. After crossing the West Gate Bridge, take the exit for Port Melbourne and follow the signs to St Kilda. Merge onto Beach Road, continue straight, and follow the coastline until you reach St Kilda Pier located at Pier Rd, St Kilda VIC 3182. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee depending on the time of day.
