Continue on Warburton Highway for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach Millgrove. As you enter Millgrove, look for Dee Road on your left. Turn onto Dee Road and continue for about 1 kilometer. The entrance to the O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail will be on your right. There is no entry fee for the trail, but parking is available on the roadside.

To reach O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail via public transport, start by taking a train from Melbourne to Lilydale Station. From Lilydale, catch the Route 685 bus towards Warburton. Get off the bus at Millgrove, which takes approximately 1 hour. From the Millgrove bus stop, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer along the Warburton Highway to reach Dee Road. Turn left onto Dee Road and walk for about 1 kilometer until you find the entrance to the O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail. Make sure to check the bus schedules for the return trip to avoid any delays.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Warburton. From Warburton, take the Warburton Trail which is a dedicated bike path that leads towards Millgrove. The ride is approximately 10 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the Yarra River and surrounding nature. Once you reach Millgrove, turn onto Dee Road and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer to reach the O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail. This is a great way to experience the area, but remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
