Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Achensee, head south on the Achenstraße/B181 towards Rofan. Continue to follow B181 for approximately 11 km. Turn right onto Rofanstraße, which will lead you directly to the Adlerhorst parking area. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Adlerhorst via public transport, take a bus from Achensee to the Rofan cable car station. The bus stop in Achensee is located near the lake. Check the local bus timetable for the exact departure times. Once you arrive at the Rofan cable car station, purchase a ticket for the cable car to the Adlerhorst viewpoint. The return ticket costs approximately €20. The cable car ride will take you up to the mountain, from where you can follow the marked hiking trails to Adlerhorst.
