From the center of Bregenz, head to the Bregenz bus station (Zentrale). You can take the bus line 5 towards 'Lustenau, Springerstraße'. Get off at the stop 'Lustenau, Gemeindeamt'. From there, transfer to bus line 13 towards 'Urnäsch, Säntis'. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at 'Urnäsch, Säntis', follow the signs for the hiking trails leading to Alter Säntis, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill.

Start at the Bregenz train station. Take the train to 'St. Gallen', and then transfer to a train heading towards 'Gossau'. At Gossau, switch to a train heading to 'Urnäsch'. The entire journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at 'Urnäsch', follow the signs to reach Alter Säntis, which is about a 30-minute hike from the train station.
