From Hallstatt, take the bus to Obertraun. The bus stop is located near Hallstatt train station. Once you arrive at the Obertraun bus station, it's about a 10-minute walk to the base of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car station at Winkl 34. Look for signs pointing towards the cable car.

Once you reach Winkl 34, you will need to take the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car to reach the summit. The cable car operates daily with specific hours: from 8:40 AM to 6:00 PM on Sundays and 8:40 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at the base station, and prices vary depending on the season.
