From Hallstatt, take the bus to Obertraun. The bus stop is located near Hallstatt train station. Once you arrive at the Obertraun bus station, it's about a 10-minute walk to the base of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car station at Winkl 34. Look for signs pointing towards the cable car.
