There is a parking area available, but it may incur a fee (around €5-€10 per day). Once parked, purchase a ticket for the cable car to take you to the Dachstein Glacier. The ticket costs approximately €40 for a round trip.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is Hallstatt Bahnhof. From there, catch the bus (Bus Line 543) towards Obertraun. Get off at the 'Obertraun Dachsteinbahn' bus stop. This journey takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop, walk to the Dachstein Glacier cable car station, which is only a short distance away (about a 10-minute walk). Purchase your cable car ticket, which costs around €40 for a round trip.

Cable Car
