Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hallstatt. Take the L547 road toward Obertraun. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn right onto Winklstraße. Continue on Winklstraße until you reach the address Winkl 34, where Dachstein Shark is located. Parking is available near the attraction, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation - Train and Bus
From Hallstatt, take the train to Obertraun. The train journey takes around 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the Obertraun train station, exit and catch the bus (line 542) heading toward Winkl. Get off at the 'Winkl' bus stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) to Winkl 34, where Dachstein Shark is located. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited.

If you are already in Obertraun, you can walk to Dachstein Shark. From the center of Obertraun, head southwest toward Winklstraße and follow it for about 2 kilometers. The walk will take approximately 25-30 minutes, offering a scenic view of the surrounding mountains. The destination will be on your left at Winkl 34.
