If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Schladming. From the center of Schladming, take the L722 road towards Ramsau am Dachstein. Continue on L722 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Dachstein Glacier. Follow the signs for Dachstein Glacier (Dachstein Gletscher) and turn onto the B165. Follow this road for another 15 kilometers, and you will find parking at the Dachstein Glacier cable car station. Note that parking is usually charged, so be prepared for a fee.
