If you are traveling by car, head towards Obertraun am Hallstättersee. From the center of Obertraun, follow 'Dachsteinstraße' road towards the Dachstein Cable Car station. From there, continue on 'Dachsteinstraße' for about 1.5 km until you see signs for the World Heritage Spiral (Welterbespirale). There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your vehicle. To reach the World Heritage Spiral using public transportation, first take a train to Obertraun Dachsteinhöhlen station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside. Take the bus number 543 towards 'Obertraun' and get off at the 'Welterbespirale' stop. The bus ride should take approximately 10 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary, especially on weekends.
