Car
From the center of Lienz, take the B100 road heading southwest. Continue on the B100 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Auronzo di Cadore. Once you arrive in Auronzo di Cadore, follow the signs towards 'Cristallo' or look for directional signs to the mountain peak. The road leading to the Cristallo will be well-marked, and you will find parking areas near the trailheads.
Public Transportation
From Lienz, take a train to San Candido. From San Candido, transfer to the bus line 446 heading towards Auronzo di Cadore. The bus will take you directly to Auronzo di Cadore. Once you arrive in Auronzo, you can walk towards the base of Cristallo, following local signage. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the trailhead leading up to Cristallo.
