Public Transport
From Eisenstadt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take bus line 1 towards 'Neusiedl am See.' Get off at the stop 'Eisenstadt, Bahnhof' after one stop. From there, transfer to bus line 3 towards 'Donauinsel.' This bus will take you directly to Donauinsel. The total journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start at Eisenstadt Hauptbahnhof. Head south on Bahnhofstraße toward the intersection with Hauptstraße. Continue onto Hauptstraße, and follow the signs toward the city center. Once you reach the center, head towards the Danube River, following signs for the waterfront. It will take around 45 minutes to walk directly to Donauinsel.
Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops near Eisenstadt Hauptbahnhof. Once you have your bike, head south on Bahnhofstraße toward Hauptstraße. Continue along the designated bike paths along the river towards Donauinsel. The ride should take about 20 minutes, making it a pleasant and scenic trip.
