Bus
From the center of Eisenstadt, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Eisenstadt Hauptplatz. Take Bus 5 towards 'Bratislava'. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the stop 'Bratislava, Hlavná stanica'. From there, transfer to Bus 29 towards 'Devín'. It should take around 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Devín, Hrad'. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs leading up the hill to Hrad Devín.
Train and Bus
Start at Eisenstadt train station (Eisenstadt Bahnhof). Take a train to Bratislava Hlavná Stanica. After arriving, exit the station and find the bus stop located right outside. Board Bus 29 towards 'Devín'. This bus will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at 'Devín, Hrad' and follow the signs to Hrad Devín, which is a short walk uphill.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from Eisenstadt to Devín. Head west from the city center towards the trail that leads to the Austrian-Slovak border. Follow the marked walking paths which will lead you through beautiful landscapes. This route can take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your walking pace. Make sure to have a map or GPS as you approach the border and Devín.
