Walking
If you are in the central area of Eisenstadt, start by heading towards the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). From the train station, head south on Bahnhofstraße towards B55. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hauptstraße. Turn left onto Hauptstraße and walk until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Haydnstraße. Cross the street at the traffic lights and continue on Hauptstraße until you see the signs for the bus stop. From there, take bus number 1 towards Vienna. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Schottentor', which should take approximately one hour. Once you get off, follow the signs towards the subway entrance (U-Bahn). Take the U-Bahn line U2 towards 'Karlsplatz' and get off at 'Karlsplatz'. Finally, transfer to line U1 towards 'Stephansplatz' and get off at 'Stephansplatz'. From there, walk towards the direction of the Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral) and follow the signs to Wallnerstraße. The Museum der Illusionen will be on your left at Wallnerstraße 4.

From Eisenstadt, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 1 towards Vienna. This bus will take you to the Vienna city center. Once you arrive in Vienna, get off at the 'Schottentor' bus stop. From there, walk to the 'Schottentor' subway station and take the U-Bahn line U2 towards 'Karlsplatz'. After one stop, transfer to line U1 towards 'Stephansplatz'. Get off at 'Stephansplatz' station, then follow the signs to the exit. Walk towards the Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral) and continue to Wallnerstraße. The Museum der Illusionen is located at Wallnerstraße 4, which is just a short walk from the cathedral.
