Walking
If you are starting from the Eisenstadt city center, head east on Hauptstraße towards the train station. From there, take the bus line 1A to the Vienna International Airport station. Once at the airport, transfer to the ÖBB train service towards Wien Mitte. Get off at Wien Mitte and transfer to the U4 underground line towards Heiligenstadt. Get off at the Karlsplatz station, then transfer to U1 towards Stephansplatz. Finally, get off at Stephansplatz station and walk about 15 minutes towards Freyung 6. You will pass through the scenic streets of Vienna, and the museum will be on your left.
Public Transport
Begin your journey at the Eisenstadt train station. Take the train to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). Once at Wien Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the underground (U-Bahn) station and take the U1 line towards Stephansplatz. After about 4 stops, get off at Stephansplatz. From there, it is a short walk: exit the station, head northwest on Stephansplatz towards Graben, then continue straight until you reach Freyung. The museum is located at Freyung 6, which is just a few minutes away from the main street.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Eisenstadt. Start by heading south on Hauptstraße towards the outskirts of the town. Follow the bike path leading to the rail trail that connects to Vienna. Continue on this path until you reach the outskirts of Vienna, where you will find bike lanes leading directly into the city. Once in Vienna, follow the signs towards the city center, eventually reaching Freyung. The museum is at Freyung 6, easily accessible with bike racks available nearby.
