Start at Eisenstadt's main train station (Eisenstadt Bahnhof). From there, take the train to Vienna. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), exit the station and head to the U1 subway line. Take the U1 in the direction of Leopoldau and get off at Stephansplatz station. From Stephansplatz, exit the station and walk towards the east for about 5 minutes until you reach the Altwiener Christkindlmarkt located at 1010 Vienna, Innere Stadt.

Begin your journey at Eisenstadt's main bus station (Eisenstadt Busbahnhof). Take the bus to Vienna. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Vienna bus terminal, you can walk to the nearest U-Bahn station, which is U3 at Westbahnhof. Take the U3 subway line in the direction of Simmering and transfer at Stephansplatz station. Alight at Stephansplatz and walk east for about 5 minutes to reach the Altwiener Christkindlmarkt located at 1010 Vienna, Innere Stadt.
