Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Eisenstadt, head towards the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Once at the station, exit onto Bahnhofstraße and turn left. Walk straight on Bahnhofstraße until you reach the intersection with B52. Cross the road and continue on the sidewalk towards the bus stop at B52. Take bus line 2 towards 'Neufeld' and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at 'Eisenstadt, Landesregierung' stop. From there, walk straight along the street (Landesregierung) and follow the signs to the train station. You will reach the main square; from there, follow the signs towards the 'Burgenland' area. Look for the bus stop that services routes to Vienna, and catch a bus heading there. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Vienna, get off at 'Michaelerplatz' station. From Michaelerplatz, walk towards the Hofburg Palace and keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bankgasse. Turn left onto Bankgasse, and you will find Stadtpalais Liechtenstein at number 9 on your right.

• Public Transport

  From Eisenstadt, walk to the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Board the train to Vienna (Wien) which departs frequently. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), exit the station and follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) lines. Take the U1 line (red line) towards 'Stephansplatz'. Get off at 'Stephansplatz' and transfer to U3 (light blue line) towards 'Volkstheater'. Disembark at 'Karlsplatz' station. Exit the station and walk towards the Ringstraße. From the Ringstraße, walk straight towards the Hofburg Palace area. Continue walking until you reach Bankgasse, then turn left. Stadtpalais Liechtenstein will be located at 9 Bankgasse, just a short walk ahead.
