Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From the main train station in Eisenstadt (Eisenstadt Hauptbahnhof), take the regional train (S-Bahn) towards Vienna. Get off at the Wien-Mitte station. From there, transfer to the U3 subway line (the orange line) towards Stephansplatz. Ride the subway for 4 stops and get off at Stephansplatz. Exit the station and head northeast towards the Graben until you reach the intersection with the Kohlmarkt. Continue on Kohlmarkt, then turn left onto Lobkowitzplatz, where you will find the Theatermuseum at number 2.

    If you are near the center of Eisenstadt, head towards the Hauptplatz (main square) and look for the bus station. Take bus line 2 towards the train station (Bahnhof). Once you arrive at the station, follow the public transport instructions provided here or take a stroll to the nearest tram stop to catch the tram to Vienna.
