From Eisenstadt, start by walking to the Eisenstadt train station (Eisenstadt Hauptbahnhof). Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Vienna. Take the train towards Vienna and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). Upon exiting the station, look for signs for the U-Bahn (subway). Take the U1 line (red) in the direction of Leopoldau. After 4 stops, get off at the station 'Karlsplatz'. From Karlsplatz, follow the signs to the Opernring exit. Once outside, head towards the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper) which is a short walk away. The Vienna Opera Festival is held at various locations, so check the festival's website for the specific venue information.
