Once you arrive at 'Wien Hauptbahnhof', follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) station. Take the U1 line (red line) towards 'Stephansplatz'. After 3 stops, get off at 'Karlsplatz'. From Karlsplatz, exit the station and walk towards Opernring; the Vienna State Opera will be on your left at Opernring 2.
