From the center of Eisenstadt, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Eisenstadt Hauptplatz'. Board the bus number 4 in the direction of 'Neufeld'. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Eisenstadt Bahnhof' stop. From there, transfer to the train service heading to Vienna. The train journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Wien Hauptbahnhof', follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) station. Take the U1 line (red line) towards 'Stephansplatz'. After 3 stops, get off at 'Karlsplatz'. From Karlsplatz, exit the station and walk towards Opernring; the Vienna State Opera will be on your left at Opernring 2.

Begin your journey at 'Eisenstadt Bahnhof'. Purchase a ticket to 'Wien Hauptbahnhof'. The train runs frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Wien Hauptbahnhof', follow the signs for the U-Bahn (subway) station inside the train station. Take the U1 line (red line) towards 'Stephansplatz' and get off at 'Karlsplatz' (3 stops). Upon exiting the station, walk towards Opernring; the Vienna State Opera is located at Opernring 2, which will be on your left.
