Car
If you're driving from central Flachgau, head northwest on the A1 motorway. Take the exit toward Salzburg-West and continue onto the B150. Follow signs for Salzburg and merge onto Schwarzenberg-Promenade. After approximately 10 km, you will reach Gilowskyhöhle located at Schwarzenberg-Promenade 47, 5026 Salzburg. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
Start at the Flachgau train station and take a train towards Salzburg. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main station), exit and head to the bus terminal adjacent to the train station. Take bus line 25 towards 'Salzburg - Riedenburg' and get off at the 'Schwarzenberg-Promenade' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Gilowskyhöhle at Schwarzenberg-Promenade 47. Bike
For a more adventurous route, you can rent a bike in Flachgau and cycle to Gilowskyhöhle. Follow the scenic bike paths along the Salzach river, which will lead you to Salzburg. The ride is approximately 12 km and should take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at Schwarzenberg-Promenade, you will find the entrance to Gilowskyhöhle.
