Public Transport
If you are near the main square, Hauptplatz, take tram number 1 or 7 from the stop 'Hauptplatz' towards 'Graz, Jakominiplatz'. Get off at 'Graz, Schlossbergplatz' (approximately a 5-minute ride). From the tram stop, walk towards the Schlossberg hill. Follow the signs leading to the 'Schlossberg' and take the staircase or the funicular railway up to the Graz Museum Schlossberg. The museum is located at Schloßberg 5, and you will see the entrance as you approach the top.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the main square, Hauptplatz. Head southeast on Herrengasse towards the Schlossberg. Continue straight until you reach the foot of the Schlossberg hill. From here, you can either take the funicular railway or the staircase leading up. The museum is located at the top of the hill at Schloßberg 5, easily visible from the pathway.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi to Graz Museum Schlossberg. Simply hail a taxi from any point in the city or use a ride-hailing app. Give the driver the address Schloßberg 5, 8010 Graz. The journey from the city center should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, and the taxi will drop you off near the entrance of the museum.
