From there, take Tram Line 1 or 7 heading towards 'Graz, Dornaustraße' and get off at 'Kaiser-Josef-Platz'. Once you exit the tram, head northeast on 'Kaiser-Josef-Platz' towards 'Schmiedgasse'. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Burggasse'. Turn left onto 'Burggasse' and walk straight. After a short walk, you will see signs leading you to Kriegssteig.

If you are close to the city center, you can walk to Kriegssteig. Start at 'Hauptplatz', the main square of Graz. From there, head southeast on 'Herrengasse' until you reach 'Kaiser-Josef-Platz'. Continue as outlined in the tram description above, heading towards 'Schmiedgasse' and 'Burggasse'. Keep an eye out for directional signs leading you to Kriegssteig.
