Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Innere Stadt, head towards the Hauptplatz. Walk straight through the square and take a left onto Sporgasse. Continue straight until you reach the steps leading up to the Schlossberg. Follow the signs for Uhrturm. The climb is about 15 minutes and involves approximately 260 steps, but you can also take a route that winds up through the park. The views along the way are beautiful!

  • Funicular

    If you prefer not to walk up the steps, you can take the Schlossbergbahn funicular. From Hauptplatz, walk towards the entrance of the funicular located at the base of Schlossberg. The ride costs €2.50 one way. Once you reach the top, follow the signs to Uhrturm, which is just a short walk from the exit.
