From the center of Hallstatt, walk towards the main street, Marktstraße. Follow this street until you reach the market square. Keep walking along the street until you see the signs for the hiking trail leading to Ramsau am Dachstein. The hike will take approximately 1 hour. Follow the signs for Ramsau and enjoy the scenic route through the mountains.

Head to the Hallstatt train station, which is located near the lake. From there, take a train towards Schladming and get off at the Ramsau am Dachstein station.
