Getting There

Walking
From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the Hallstatt train station located at Bahnhofstraße. Once you reach the train station, take the train to Berchtesgaden. The train ride will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving at Berchtesgaden, exit the train station and walk towards the main road, Berchtesgadener Straße. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Hanielstraße. Turn right onto Hanielstraße, and you will find the House of Mountains at number 7 on your left.

Bus
Begin at the Hallstatt bus stop, which is close to the town center. Take the bus to Berchtesgaden; buses run regularly throughout the day. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Berchtesgaden bus station, exit the bus and walk along Berchtesgadener Straße for about 500 meters. When you reach the intersection with Hanielstraße, turn right. The House of Mountains will be located at 7 Hanielstraße, just a short walk from there.
