Walking
From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the Hallstatt train station. Once you reach the station, take the train towards Schladming. This train will take you through beautiful scenery, and you will need to disembark at the Ramsau am Dachstein stop. After getting off the train, follow the signs leading towards the Ramsau village. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the train station to the village center.

From Hallstatt, walk to the bus stop at the Hallstatt Lahn area. Take the bus line 542 towards Ramsau am Dachstein. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Ramsau am Dachstein stop. From there, you can easily explore the area on foot, as most attractions are within walking distance.
