If you are in the center of Hallstatt, start by heading towards the waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade beside the lake, enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you'll find the Hallstatt train station. From here, look for the signs directing you to the ferry terminal.

At the Hallstatt ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry heading to the town of St. Wolfgang. The ferry ride will offer you stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes.

Upon arriving at St. Wolfgang, disembark the ferry and follow the signs to the SchafbergBahn railway station. The station is located at Markt 35 in St. Wolfgang, just a short walk from the ferry terminal. The walk should take approximately 10 minutes.
