A Picture-Perfect Day in Hallstatt
This day trip from Vienna to Hallstatt was pure magic. Our local guide was friendly and full of interesting stories, which made the long drive feel short. Hallstatt itself is like something out of a fairytale—quiet streets, mirror-like lake, and mountain views everywhere. The guided part helped us understand the town’s history and culture, but we also had time to explore on our own. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and discovery.

We were disappointed that the Eagles Nest was closed for the winter but our driver did recommend a mountain top where we were able to see it from and also enjoy a great sunset and views from above the clouds. He additionally recommended a great little restaurant in Salzburg which we all enjoyed.
