If you are starting from the Hallstatt market square (Marktplatz), head towards the lakefront. Walk down the path that leads you to the waterfront area, following the signs for the boat docks. Once you reach the shore, turn left and follow the path along the lake. The boathouses will be visible just ahead, situated along the edge of the water. This walk should take about 5-10 minutes.

If you are starting from the Hallstatt train station, exit the station and walk down the path towards the village. Upon entering Hallstatt, continue straight until you reach the main square. From there, follow the previous instructions to reach the boathouses.

If you are at the Salt Mine (Salzbergwerk), you can walk back down towards Hallstatt village. Once you arrive in the village, follow the directions to the market square, then proceed to the waterfront and follow the path to the boathouses as described above.
