Walking
From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the main street (Marktplatz). Walk straight until you reach the end of the square and continue on the road named Seestraße, which runs along the lake. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Gosaumühlstraße. Turn left onto Gosaumühlstraße and continue walking for another 10-15 minutes. You will find Hallstatttunnel located at Gosaumühlstraße 76. Look for a sign indicating the entrance to the tunnel.

If you prefer public transport, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Hallstatt train station. Take the bus towards Gosaumühlstraße and get off at the stop 'Gosaumühlstraße'. From the bus stop, Hallstatttunnel is just a short walk away (approximately 5 minutes). Head towards the direction of the tunnel, which will be on your left side as you walk along Gosaumühlstraße.
