Walking
From Hallstatt village center, head towards the Hallstatt train station. Follow the road as it curves to the left and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Turn right to follow the lakeside promenade along Lake Hallstättersee. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 20-25 minutes), enjoying the scenic views along the lake. You will eventually reach the Hallstättersee Landesstraße. From here, continue walking straight for another 500 meters (about 5-10 minutes) until you see the sign for Lake Hallstatt Viewpoint on your left. Follow the path leading up to the viewpoint, which will offer breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Public Transport
Start at the Hallstatt village center and head to the Hallstatt train station. Take the bus towards Obertraun from the bus stop located outside the train station. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Obertraun Ortsmitte' bus stop. From there, walk along Hallstättersee Landesstraße for about 1 kilometer (approximately 15 minutes) until you reach the Lake Hallstatt Viewpoint. Look out for a sign indicating the viewpoint, and follow the path up to enjoy the stunning views.
