From the center of Hallstatt, head toward the lakefront along the main street, Seestraße. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Gaiswandweg. Turn left onto Gaiswandweg. Follow this path uphill for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass by some beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Marienruhe will be located on your left side as you approach the end of the pathway.
