Car
From the center of Hohe Tauern National Park, head southeast on B107 towards Matrei in Osttirol. Continue on B107 for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction with L19. Turn left onto L19 and follow the signs to Gorner. After approximately 10 km, you will arrive in Gorner (9971). Please note that parking may be limited, so plan to arrive early.
Public Transportation
To reach Gorner by public transportation, take a bus from any major town within Hohe Tauern National Park to Matrei in Osttirol. From Matrei, transfer to the local bus service that runs towards Gorner. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary by season, and a ticket will typically cost around €5-€10 depending on your starting point. Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding.
Hiking
If you're already in the Hohe Tauern area and enjoy hiking, consider trekking to Gorner. Several marked trails lead to Gorner from nearby villages like Matrei in Osttirol.
