After about 25 km, look for signs indicating the turnoff to the road leading to the Stemmerkogel trailhead. The road may have some turns and narrow sections, so drive cautiously. Parking is available near the trailhead, but make sure to arrive early during peak tourist seasons to secure a spot. Parking may incur a small fee, typically around €5.
Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a train from any nearby station to Mittersill. From Mittersill, you can catch a local bus (Bus Line 670) that goes towards the Stemmerkogel area. Make sure to check the bus timetable in advance, as services may be limited. Once you reach the closest bus stop, you will need to hike approximately 3 km to reach the Stemmerkogel trailhead. The bus fare is usually around €3-5 depending on the distance. Ensure you have some cash, as not all buses accept card payments.
