Walking
If you are starting from the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the main road (Maria-Theresien-Straße). Turn left and walk along the street for about 10 minutes. You will pass various shops and cafes. Keep walking straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Anichstraße. Cross the street and continue straight until you reach the old town area. Look for the signs pointing towards 'Altstadt' (Old Town). Hofgasse is just off the main square (Marktplatz). The Altstadt Innsbruck, located at Hofgasse 4, will be on your right.

From the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 towards 'Igls' or tram line 3 towards 'Arzl im Pitztal'. Get off at the stop 'Marktplatz'. From there, walk through the lively square, heading towards the 'Goldenes Dachl' (Golden Roof), which is a famous landmark. Hofgasse is a short walk away from the Golden Roof, just follow the signs to the Altstadt Innsbruck. The address is Hofgasse 4.
