Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Innsbruck's main train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along Maria-Theresien-Straße, which is a prominent street lined with shops and cafes. Continue for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the junction with Herzog-Friedrich-Straße. Turn left onto Herzog-Friedrich-Straße and walk for about 200 meters. The Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) will be on your right at Herzog-Friedrich-Straße 15.

  • Public Transport

    From the Innsbruck main train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 or 3 in the direction of 'Igls' or 'Mühlau'. Get off at 'Marktplatz' stop, which takes about 6 minutes. Once you exit the tram, walk along the street towards Herzog-Friedrich-Straße. The Golden Roof will be approximately a 5-minute walk away, located at Herzog-Friedrich-Straße 15, easily visible as you approach the historic center.
