Stay on the bus for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes until you reach the final stop at Hintertux. From the bus stop, the Hintertuxer Gletscher is a short walk (about 5 minutes) up the road; just follow the signs.
Train and Bus
Take a train from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof to Mayrhofen. Ensure you check the train schedules for timings; the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Mayrhofen, transfer to the bus heading to Hintertux. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Hintertux bus stop, walk about 5 minutes to reach the Hintertuxer Gletscher.
