Train
Start your journey at Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take a regional train towards Mayrhofen. Check the train schedules as they can vary. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Once you arrive at Mayrhofen station, exit the train and look for the bus stop for the Zillertalbahn bus. Take the bus towards Tux, which is marked as 'Tux'. This ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus route as it may stop at various locations before reaching Tux.

Local Transport (Cable Car)
Upon arriving in Tux, disembark at the bus stop and follow the signs to the Hintertuxer Gletscher cable car station. The cable car station is well-marked and is a short walk (about 10-15 minutes) from the bus stop. Purchase your ticket for the cable car, which will take you directly up to the Hintertuxer Gletscher ski resort.
