    If you are starting from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head south on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the junction with Maria-Theresien-Straße. Turn left onto Maria-Theresien-Straße and walk for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the junction with Universitätsstraße, turn right and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will see the entrance to the Innsbruck University Botanical Garden on your left at Sternwartestraße 15.

    From Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 towards Rum. Get off at the stop named 'Universität' after 5 stops. Once you exit the tram, head north on Universitätsstraße.
