    From Innsbruck's main train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 3 towards 'Igls' and get off at 'Schloß Ambras' stop. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you exit the tram, you will see the entrance to Schloss Ambras directly in front of you.

    If you are near the city center, you can walk to Schloss Ambras. Start at the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) and head south on Herzog-Friedrich-Straße. Continue straight until you reach Maria-Theresien-Straße, then turn left. Walk along Maria-Theresien-Straße until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Schloßstraße. Follow this road for about 30 minutes, and you will arrive at Schloss Ambras.

  • Bus

    From Innsbruck city center, head to the 'Anichstraße' bus stop. Take bus line A towards 'Igls' and get off at 'Schloß Ambras' stop. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. After getting off, you will see the castle easily as it is just a short walk away.
