    Train

    From Innsbruck, take a train from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station) towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, follow the signs to the Zugspitze cable car station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the train station. There you can purchase your ticket for the cable car to Zugspitze.

    From Innsbruck, you can take the bus number 4156 from the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof. Get off at the stop 'Scharnitz, Bahnhof' and transfer to bus number 9616 which will take you to the Zugspitze cable car station. The total travel time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
