If you are driving from the center of Innviertel, head southeast on B137 towards Passau. Continue on B137 for approximately 25 kilometers. When you reach Passau, follow the signs to the city center. Once in the city, look for signs to the Fritz-Schäffer-Promenade, which is along the Danube River. You can find parking nearby, but be aware that parking may require a fee.

To reach Fritz-Schäffer-Promenade using public transport, take a train from any nearby station in Innviertel to Passau Hauptbahnhof (main train station). The journey typically takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Passau Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus stop. Take bus number 3 or 4 towards 'Zentrum' (city center). Get off at the stop 'Fritz-Schäffer-Promenade'. From there, it is a short walk to the promenade along the Danube River.
