Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Kitzbühel town center. Take the B161 road towards Pass Thurn. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for signs indicating the Kitzbüheler Horn. Follow the signs and turn onto the road leading to the Kitzbüheler Horn cable car station. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the station (parking fees may apply, typically around €5 per day). From the cable car station, take the cable car up to the Kitzbüheler Horn summit. Once at the top, you can follow the marked hiking trails towards Jufenkreuz, which is about a 30-minute walk from the summit.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transport, start at the Kitzbühel train station. Take the bus number 400 towards Kitzbüheler Horn, which operates regularly. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Kitzbüheler Horn' bus stop. From there, walk to the Kitzbüheler Horn cable car station. Purchase a ticket for the cable car (prices vary, typically around €20 for a round trip). Once you reach the top, follow the marked trails leading to Jufenkreuz, which is approximately a 30-minute hike.

• Hiking

  If you're feeling adventurous and prefer hiking, you can start from Kitzbühel town center. Follow the trail signs towards Kitzbüheler Horn, which is a challenging hike of about 3-4 hours. The trail is well-marked but ensure you have proper hiking gear and plenty of water. Once you reach the Kitzbüheler Horn summit, follow the hiking path to Jufenkreuz, which is a further 30-minute walk. The total hiking distance from Kitzbühel to Jufenkreuz is roughly 10 kilometers.
